A.J. is a managing partner of Capstone, and directs the company’s business development and daily operations. Since October of 2010, A.J. has led, or been meaningfully involved in, 50+ multi-family brokerage sales: representing over 10,000 units sold and nearly half a billion in sales volume.
Prior to joining Capstone, A.J. founded and worked with three successful real estate start-ups. A.J.’s diverse investment sales experience spans a wide spectrum: from representing local private equity investors to institutional multi-family conglomerates, such as Sentinel Real Estate Corporation and the Related Companies. Whether it’s a sale of a 30-unit infill apartment asset in an A+ location of the urban core, a transit-oriented development site, or a 1,000+ unit portfolio across the Southeast, A.J. has continuously proven his ability to enthusiastically represent his client’s best interests at any cost. A.J.’s diverse background and education has afforded him a unique and creative lens by which he analyzes and acts on important economic indicators; thus, giving him the ability to more frequently achieve above market pricing than the competition.
A.J. graduated from the University of Michigan in 2007 with a degree in Bio-Psychology and Cognitive Science. He enjoys Michigan sports, volunteering, the outdoors, world travel, and spending time with wife, Caitlin, and son, Harrison.
